มาตรา 159 ผู้ใดเป็นเจ้าพนักงาน มีหน้าที่ดูแล รักษาทรัพย์หรือเอกสารใด กระทำการอันมิชอบด้วยหน้าที่ โดยถอน ทำให้เสียหาย ทำลายหรือทำให้ไร้ประโยชน์ หรือโดยยินยอมให้ผู้อื่นกระทำเช่นนั้น ซึ่งตราหรือเครื่องหมายอันเจ้าพนักงานได้ประทับหรือหมายไว้ที่ทรัพย์หรือเอกสารนั้นในการปฏิบัติการตามหน้าที่ เพื่อเป็นหลักฐานในการยึดหรือรักษาสิ่งนั้น ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินห้าปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งแสนบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
Section 159 Whoever, being an official charged with the duty to keep or maintain any property or document, wrongfully acts contrary to his duty by withdrawing, damaging, destroying or rendering useless, or by allowing another to do so, a seal or mark which an official has affixed to such property or document in the performance of his duty as evidence for the seizure or custody thereof, shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding five years or a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand baht, or both.
