มาตรา 242 ผู้ใดกระทำโดยทุจริตให้เหรียญกระษาปณ์ซึ่งรัฐบาลออกใช้มีน้ำหนักลดลง ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินเจ็ดปี และปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งแสนสี่หมื่นบาท
ผู้ใดนำเข้าในราชอาณาจักร นำออกใช้หรือมีไว้เพื่อนำออกใช้ ซึ่งเหรียญกระษาปณ์ที่มีผู้กระทำโดยทุจริตให้น้ำหนักลดลงตามความในวรรคแรก ต้องระวางโทษเช่นเดียวกัน
Section 242 Whoever dishonestly reduces the weight of a coin issued by the government shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding seven years and a fine not exceeding one hundred and forty thousand baht.
Whoever imports into the Kingdom, puts into circulation, or has for the purpose of putting into circulation a coin so dishonestly reduced in weight shall be liable to the same punishment.
