มาตรา 280 ถ้าการกระทำความผิดตามมาตรา 278 หรือมาตรา 279 เป็นเหตุให้ผู้ถูกกระทำ
(1) รับอันตรายสาหัส ผู้กระทำต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่ห้าปีถึงยี่สิบปี และปรับตั้งแต่หนึ่งแสนบาทถึงสี่แสนบาท หรือจำคุกตลอดชีวิต
(2) ถึงแก่ความตาย ผู้กระทำต้องระวางโทษประหารชีวิต หรือจำคุกตลอดชีวิต
Section 280 If the offence under Section 278 or Section 279 causes the victim to:
(1) suffer grievous bodily harm, the offender shall be liable to imprisonment of five to twenty years and a fine of one hundred thousand to four hundred thousand baht, or imprisonment for life;
(2) die, the offender shall be liable to death or imprisonment for life.
