มาตรา 281 ความผิดตามมาตราดังต่อไปนี้ เป็นความผิดอันยอมความได้
(1) มาตรา 276 วรรคหนึ่ง ซึ่งเป็นการกระทำระหว่างคู่สมรส ถ้ามิได้เกิดต่อหน้าธารกำนัล หรือไม่เป็นเหตุให้ผู้ถูกกระทำรับอันตรายสาหัสหรือถึงแก่ความตาย
(2) มาตรา 278 ถ้ามิได้เกิดต่อหน้าธารกำนัล ไม่เป็นเหตุให้ผู้ถูกกระทำรับอันตรายสาหัสหรือถึงแก่ความตาย หรือมิได้เป็นการกระทำแก่บุคคลดังระบุไว้ในมาตรา 285 และมาตรา 285/2
Section 281 The following offences are compoundable offences:
(1) Section 276 paragraph one, where committed between spouses, if not committed in public and not causing the victim grievous bodily harm or death;
(2) Section 278, if not committed in public, not causing the victim grievous bodily harm or death, and not committed against a person specified in Sections 285 and 285/2.
