มาตรา 307 ผู้ใดมีหน้าที่ตามกฎหมายหรือตามสัญญาต้องดูแลผู้ซึ่งพึ่งตนเองมิได้ เพราะอายุ ความป่วยเจ็บ กายพิการหรือจิตพิการ ทอดทิ้งผู้ซึ่งพึ่งตนเองมิได้นั้นเสียโดยประการที่น่าจะเป็นเหตุให้เกิดอันตรายแก่ชีวิต ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินสามปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหกหมื่นบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
Section 307 Whoever, having a duty by law or by contract to care for a person unable to fend for himself by reason of age, sickness, physical disability, or mental disability, abandons that person in a manner likely to endanger his life, shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding three years, or a fine not exceeding sixty thousand baht, or both.
