มาตรา 176 ผู้ใดกระทำความผิดตามมาตรา 175 แล้วลุแก่โทษต่อศาล และขอถอนฟ้องหรือแก้ฟ้องก่อนมีคำพิพากษา ให้ศาลลงโทษน้อยกว่าที่กฎหมายกำหนดไว้หรือศาลจะไม่ลงโทษเลยก็ได้

Section 176 Whoever, having committed the offence under Section 175, submits to the court and asks to withdraw or amend the charge before judgment, the court may impose a punishment below that provided by law, or may impose no punishment at all.
