มาตรา 227 ผู้ใดเป็นผู้มีวิชาชีพในการออกแบบ ควบคุม หรือทำการก่อสร้าง ซ่อมแซมหรือรื้อถอน อาคารหรือสิ่งปลูกสร้างใด ๆ ไม่ปฏิบัติตามหลักเกณฑ์ หรือวิธีการอันพึงกระทำการนั้น ๆ โดยประการที่น่าจะเป็นเหตุให้เกิดอันตรายแก่บุคคลอื่น ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินห้าปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งแสนบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
Section 227 Whoever, being a professional in designing, supervising, or carrying out the construction, repair, or demolition of any building or structure, fails to follow the rules or methods proper to that work, in a manner likely to cause danger to another person, shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding five years, or a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand baht, or both.
