มาตรา 39 วิธีการเพื่อความปลอดภัย มีดังนี้

(1) กักกัน

(2) ห้ามเข้าเขตกำหนด

(3) เรียกประกันทัณฑ์บน

(4) คุมตัวไว้ในสถานพยาบาล

(5) ห้ามการประกอบอาชีพบางอย่าง

Section 39 The safety measures are as follows:

(1) confinement for habitual offenders (kakkan);

(2) prohibition from entering a designated zone;

(3) requiring a recognizance for good behaviour;

(4) detention in a medical institution;

(5) prohibition from certain occupations.
