มาตรา 256 ผู้ใดลบ ถอนหรือกระทำด้วยประการใด ๆ แก่แสตมป์รัฐบาลซึ่งระบุไว้ในมาตรา 254 และมีเครื่องหมายหรือการกระทำอย่างใดแสดงว่าใช้ไม่ได้แล้ว เพื่อให้ใช้ได้อีก ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินสามปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหกหมื่นบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ

Section 256 Whoever erases, removes, or does any act to a government stamp specified in Section 254 that bears a mark or treatment showing it has been used, in order to make it usable again, shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding three years, or a fine not exceeding sixty thousand baht, or both.
