มาตรา 299 ผู้ใดเข้าร่วมในการชุลมุนต่อสู้ระหว่างบุคคลตั้งแต่สามคนขึ้นไป และบุคคลหนึ่งบุคคลใดไม่ว่าจะเป็นผู้ที่เข้าร่วมในการนั้นหรือไม่รับอันตรายสาหัส โดยการกระทำในการชุลมุนต่อสู้นั้น ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินหนึ่งปี หรือปรับไม่เกินสองหมื่นบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
ถ้าผู้ที่เข้าร่วมในการชุลมุนต่อสู้นั้นแสดงได้ว่า ได้กระทำไปเพื่อห้ามการชุลมุนต่อสู้นั้น หรือเพื่อป้องกันโดยชอบด้วยกฎหมาย ผู้นั้นไม่ต้องรับโทษ
Section 299 Whoever takes part in an affray among three or more persons, and any person, whether or not taking part in the affray, receives grievous bodily harm as a result of an act in that affray, shall be liable to imprisonment not exceeding one year or a fine not exceeding twenty thousand baht, or both.
If a person taking part in the affray shows that he acted to stop the affray, or in lawful defence, that person shall not be punished.
